Palamu: In a police encounter in Palamu, the infamous Naxalite Area Commander Ranjan of TSPC was shot, two associates of the Naxalites were arrested.
In the joint operation of the police and CRPF134 battalion, after being shot in the encounter with the TSPC Naxalite organization, the injured Naxalite Ranjan, along with other Naxalites, left their daily use material and fled in different directions by taking advantage of the dense forest-jhark, hill, cistern.
During the investigative action by the police, one magazine of an Ak-47 rifle, 07 live cartridges of an Ak-47 rifle, 03 mobiles, Naxalite pamphlets and wedding, and other materials were recovered. This is the first police encounter with TSPC Naxalites after 2018 AD under the Chhatarpur police sub-division area of the district.
