Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: The Palani Police has intensified their crackdown on narcotics to ensure a safe environment for the youth, especially college students. Acting on specific information about ganja being illegally sold in parts of Palani, Palani DSP Shri Dhananjayan directed a special enforcement operation.
Following the instructions, Palani Nagar Police Station Inspector Manimaran, along with Sub-Inspector Vijay and a team of police personnel, carried out intensive patrolling and surveillance. During the operation, police apprehended 10 individuals involved in selling ganja near the Balaji Fertilization Center and Aishwarya Hospital on Dindigul Road, where the accused were allegedly targeting college students.

Police have seized 4 two-wheelers and a quantity of ganja from their possession. Further investigation is underway to trace the supply network and take strict action against others involved.
The Palani Police reiterated their commitment to maintaining a drug-free environment and warned that continuous enforcement drives will be carried out against narcotics offenders, especially those targeting students and youth.
