Baloda Bazar, Chhattisgarh, October 24, 2025: In a swift and effective response, the Palari Police successfully apprehended four accused persons involved in the brutal assault and murder of a young man in Jarve village, within 24 hours of the incident.
The victim, identified as Kailash Verma, was reportedly dragged out of his house by the accused, tied to a pole near the village square, and severely beaten with fists, GI pipes, and sticks. Despite being rushed to the District Hospital, Baloda Bazar, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
During the violent incident, the accused also assaulted the victim’s brother, father, and other family members, threatening to kill them. Based on the complaint, a case of murder and assault was immediately registered, and multiple police teams were formed under the supervision of senior officers.
Through prompt investigation and coordinated field efforts, all four accused were traced and arrested within a short span of time. The arrested individuals have been identified as:
Anshu Sahu, 19 years, resident of Jarve village, Police Station Palari
Jatiram Sahu, 43 years, resident of Jarve village, Police Station Palari
Bihari Lal Sahu, 35 years, resident of Jarve village, Police Station Palari
Kameshwar Sahu, 45 years, resident of Jarve village, Police Station Palari
