North Tripura: In an effort to uphold peace, ensure public safety, and prevent any incidents of unrest, the Panisagar Police Station in North Tripura District conducted a comprehensive anti-liquor operation in the Charupasa area. During the raid, a significant amount of foreign liquor (FL) was seized, including various brands and different quantities of alcohol, all of which were being sold or stored illegally. The operation was aimed at curbing the sale of illicit liquor, which poses both social and legal challenges in the region. As a result of the raid, one individual was apprehended and subsequently arrested under the provisions of the 69 TE Act, which governs the illegal sale and possession of alcohol. This action is part of an ongoing effort by local authorities to prevent illegal activities and maintain law and order in the community.
