Mangalagiri: After 8 months of rigorous training, the Passing out Parade of 20th batch Dog Squad was held today at 6th Battalion Mangalagiri with 35 canines of 4 breeds. 25 Explosive dogs, 3 Assault dogs & 7 Tracker dogs are the part of the squad. With this induction, the strength of Andhra Pradesh Police dog squad has raised to 212. Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Home Minister, Mrs.Taneti Vanitha was the Chief Guest of the Parade and witnessed the Spectacular Performance of the professionally trained Canines which stole the hearts with their Acrobatics and Skills. The canines were awarded First, Second and Third Prizes for the best performance during the training in Explosives, Tracker and Assault categories.
