Hyderabad City, Telangana: On the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Fitr, large numbers of devotees gathered at the Mir Alam Eidgah to offer special prayers in a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere.
Ensuring smooth conduct of the celebrations, V. C. Sajjanar, Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, personally supervised the security arrangements at the venue. Following the prayers, he interacted warmly with the public, distributed chocolates to children, and extended his festive greetings.
The Commissioner expressed satisfaction that the entire month of Ramadan concluded peacefully, with no untoward incidents reported. He highlighted that comprehensive arrangements were made in advance to ensure devotees faced no inconvenience during prayers and festive shopping.
He also appreciated the cooperation of religious leaders, citizens, and various government departments, which contributed to the successful and peaceful conduct of the celebrations.
Senior police officials were present on the occasion, reflecting the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order and fostering communal harmony during major festivals.
