Rachakonda: Police Commissioner Mr. DS Chauhan IPS recently held a coordination meeting with officials from the IPS Rachakonda Zonal DCPs, ACPs, and other officials to discuss the safety arrangements and precautions that need to be taken during the upcoming festival of Ramzan. The meeting was conducted via video conference at the Neradmet CP office, and various instructions were given to officials regarding the maintenance of communal harmony in sensitive areas under Rachakonda Commissionerate.
During the meeting, Commissioner Mr. Chauhan emphasized the importance of celebrating the festival peacefully and happily, and urged people to cooperate with the police to avoid any untoward incidents. He also advised Muslims to exercise caution during the organization of events such as mass prayers, where large numbers of people usually participate.
To ensure that the festival is celebrated peacefully, the Commissioner instructed officials to take strict action against any law and order problems that may arise during the celebrations. He emphasized the importance of assigning duties to the appropriate and efficient officials and coordinating with the authorities to make necessary arrangements. To ensure the safety of the people, officials were also instructed to monitor the performance of CCTVs in respective areas.
Traffic personnel were also instructed to be vigilant during the festival to prevent traffic jams on the roads during mass prayers and other activities, and to make sure that common people are not inconvenienced.
The main focus of the meeting was to ensure communal harmony in Rachakonda Commissionerate, and the Commissioner directed officials to take all necessary measures to maintain it. Joint Commissioner Mr. Satyanarayana IPS, SB DCP Mr. Balaswamy IPS, ACP Mr. Javed, ACP Mr. Jagdish Chander, ACPs, Inspectors, and other officers participated in the video conference meeting.
