Mahabub Nagar: Mahabub Nagar is the largest district in Telangana in terms of area covered with 18432.00 sq. km. The Superintendent of Police Ms. Rema Rajeshwari IPS is an Indian Police Service officer serving in the State of Telangana. She wields her baton and pen with equal ease. The first female IPS officer from Munnar, Kerala and a topper of the IPS class of 2009, she held various dynamic and challenging positions. Through her collaborative policing efforts, she encourages women to break gender stereotypes and empower them to emerge as leaders. She has been championing for Child Safety by educating the children of rural India to break the silence around Child Sexual Abuse (CSA). A self-confessed addict of the written word, she writes widely on policing, women, children, the less fortunate and history with a passion for scholarly accuracy. And occasionally dabbles in photography.
In view of the present ongoing Coronavirus crisis the frontline warriors who are fighting the pandemic need to be kept safe from being affected by the deadly virus. Therefore the safety kits that are needed to keep the warriors safe were distributed to the 900 police officers of Mahabub Nagar district. The products included personal safety kits and thermos flasks.
