Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, July 11: In a proud and dignified ceremony held at the District Police Headquarters (DPO), Jammu, four officers of the District Special Branch were formally promoted and adorned with their new ranks in a pipping ceremony led by SSP Jammu, Shri Joginder Singh, JKPS.
Head Constables Surinder Kumar, Vijay Singh, Mir Ali, and Roshan Lal were promoted to the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI), acknowledging their dedication, discipline, and long-standing service to the department.
Congratulating the officers, SSP Jammu lauded their unwavering commitment and professionalism, stating that the promotion stands as a testament to their past sincerity and hard work. He further encouraged the newly promoted ASIs to continue upholding the highest standards of service and to view new responsibilities as opportunities for growth and leadership.

The event was attended by senior officers including Sh. Vivek Shekhar Sharma, JKPS, SP City North Jammu; Sh. Kamal Bhagat, JKAS, Accounts Officer DPO Jammu; and Sh. Ashok Kumar, DySP DSB Jammu, along with staff members of DPO Jammu, who shared in the celebration of their colleagues’ achievements.
