Kerala, Pathanamthitta: The district police continue their crackdown on criminals, anti-social elements, and those engaged in hooliganism. Since VG Vinod Kumar assumed the role of district police chief, four hardened criminals have been jailed under the Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act (CAPA). Action has been taken against two individuals from the Tiruvalla Police Station and one each from the Koduman and Adoor Police Stations.
The offenders include Roshan Varghese (29) of Chirappat House, Tiruvalla Tukalassery Anjali Road; Deepu Mon (28) of Karunalayam House, Kuttapuzha East, Muthur Plaparam; Vishnuthambi (28) of Kureshi House, Koduman; and Laiju (28) of Vishnu Bhavan, Pallikkal Pazhakulam, Metuppuram Ponmata East, Adoor. Notably, Laiju, a serious offender, has already spent 10 days in custody.
