Chaibasa: On the date of June 23, 2023, a commendable operation was executed by the police/security forces as they successfully located, recovered, and subsequently destroyed an improvised explosive device (IED) and a Spike Hole. This courageous mission took place along the route leading to Sarjomburu village, which resides within a region heavily afflicted by the presence of Naxal insurgents and falls under the jurisdiction of the Tonto police station.
Demonstrating a remarkable sense of compassion and solidarity, the police/security forces, after accomplishing their hazardous objective, proceeded to share their provisions with the villagers of Sarjomburu. This act of selflessness involved the collective consumption of the nourishment, with everyone partaking in an organized and orderly manner.
Regrettably, it was later noticed that some of the villagers had fallen ill as a result of the consumed food. Responding swiftly and responsibly to this unforeseen circumstance, the police/security forces promptly organized and established a dedicated medical camp within the vicinity. This medical facility served as a vital resource for providing comprehensive healthcare services to the ailing villagers, ensuring they received the proper treatment and attention they urgently required.
