Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu: The Thenkasi District Police have announced the public auction of unclaimed vehicles seized in various criminal cases under the jurisdiction of Puliyangudi Utkotta Police Station.
According to officials, a total of 202 motor vehicles, including 197 two-wheelers, will be auctioned on March 23, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the premises of Sokkampatti Police Station in Tenkasi district.
Interested participants can inspect the vehicles at the Sokkampatti Police Station premises from March 18 to March 21, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. To take part in the auction, individuals must register by paying an advance amount of ₹3,000 and submitting their Aadhaar card with name and address details to obtain a participation token.
Only those who receive the token will be permitted to participate in the auction. Successful bidders must immediately pay the final auction amount along with 18% GST to the government in cash on the same day and take possession of the vehicle.
