Tirunelveli: The Tharyuthu police commended the person who honestly handed over the money a person had missed at the ATM near Tharyuthu at the police station. Perumal (50) of Kaliyamman Kovil Street, North Tharyuthu. (05.02.2024) came to withdraw money from SBI ATM near Tharyuthu Post Office in the morning. Then the person who came in front of him used the ATM card and left without withdrawing the money. Later, when Perumal went inside the ATM room to withdraw money, Rs.8,000 was found outside the ATM machine. Knowing this, Perumal came to the Tharyuthu police station and handed over Rs.8,000 in an honest manner. The police of Thalyuthu Police Station have greatly appreciated the honesty of Perumal.
