During the brawl, Wajid was attacked by a group of assailants. His brothers, Sajid and Khadeer, rushed to the scene to assist him but were also assaulted with knives. Amidst the violence, Syed Faqruddin (alias Rafeeq or Shimlan), who was passing by near Fatima Hospital, was fatally stabbed by Mohammad Asad and his associates, Hussain Pasha (alias Ashu) and Mohammed Subhan Khan.

The following individuals were arrested: Mohammad Asad, Hussain Pasha (alias Ashu), Mohammed Subhan Khan, Mohammed Anwar (alias Anna), Mohammed Adnan Uddin, Mohammed Ismail (alias Qurram), Saif Ali Khan (alias Arbaz), Abdullah Khan, Shaik Dastagir, Syed Yakub Ali, Osman Bin Khalid Yamani, and Aman Ali Hashmi. Meanwhile, Mehsan Bin Samad Misri, Imran, Ghouse, Mazhar, Sohail, and Dastagir remain at large.

The arrests were made under the direction of Ms. Rashmi Perumal, IPS, DCP Task Force, Mr. Shaik Jahangir, Addl. DCP, South Zone, Mr. A. Srinivas Rao, Addl. DCP, Task Force, and Mr. Ch. Saibaba, and Mr. V. Purushotham. This swift and effective action has been commended by Mrs. Sneha Mehra, IPS, Dy. Commissioner of Police, South Zone.

In light of recent incidents and bodily offenses in the area, it has been observed that shop and restaurant owners are operating beyond the permitted hours, despite government instructions. All such establishment owners are advised to close their establishments as per government regulations, or necessary legal actions will be taken against them. Due to repeated violations of government rules, we are tightening enforcement, conducting focused patrolling, vehicle checks, and disarming operations. Cases have been filed against individuals found in possession of arms, using vehicles without number plates, and consuming or possessing narcotic substances.

We request parents and family members to ensure their children abide by the rules and refrain from engaging in rowdyism and illegal activities. Henceforth, there will be zero tolerance for any activity that disturbs peace and creates law and order issues. We urge everyone to abide by the law.
