A 20-year-old has been arrested and his 15-year-old associate has been apprehended for allegedly killing a man in Dwarka on Thursday night. The accused murdered the victim allegedly because he abused the two, the police said. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Mr. Shibesh Singh told that Pramod Singh and the minor were nabbed on Friday for the murder of Mukesh whose body was found lying in Surajkund Dharamshala in Kakrola village. The police got the informing thtough a call that a body was lying in the village. The police said that a piece of cloth was tied to the neck of the body. “Eventually, the person was identified as 45-year-old Mukesh, a resident of the village,” said Mr. Singh. During investigation, the police were told by locals that Mukesh was a habitual drinker and used to shout and abuse people after getting drunk. The DCP told “CCTV footage of the area was examined and the investigation narrowed down to two suspects who, with the help of surveillance, were nabbed,”. During interrogation, the duo allegedly confessed to the crime. “On the night of the incident, they bumped into Mukesh and he abused them. In a fit of rage, they killed him,” said the officer. The accused allegedly banged the victim’s head against a wall and then strangulated him till he died.
