<![CDATA[The Police on Sunday in connection with the possession of illegal firearms arrested 3 persons. According to the police, one of the accused Mohammed Nizam, 25, a resident of Islampura in HAL, had sold a pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition to Jagadisha. A police team raided his house. On questioning he confessed that he sold the weapon to the actor. The Central Crime Branch police later arrested Jagadish, a Kannada actor who was in possession of the pistol and recovered the pistol and 10 rounds of ammunition from him. On conducting further investigation the police were led to other accused namely B.G. Satish Kumar, 44, from New Thippasandra and Syed Sameer Ahmed, 32, from Kothanur. The Police said the second country-made pistol and 11 rounds of bullets were recovered from them. All the four accused have been booked under the Arms Act.]]>
