Chikkamagaluru: On 20.8.2024, police officers conducted visits to multiple schools within the jurisdictions of Chikmagaluru Rural, Jayapura, and Banakal police stations. During these visits, they actively engaged with the students, delivering comprehensive awareness sessions on a range of important topics. The officers educated the students about the severe consequences and dangers associated with drug abuse, emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic rules for their safety, and discussed the various risks and preventive measures related to cybercrimes. Additionally, they provided detailed information about the 112 emergency helpline, explaining its purpose and encouraging students to use it in situations requiring immediate assistance. This initiative was aimed at fostering a safer and more informed community among the youth in these regions.
