South Andaman: Based on credible information that a person namely Suresh Barman S/o Mr. Becha Ram Burman, (24) Years R/o Guptapara, Near Medical Sub-Centre has planted Cannabis plant in his land beside his house. Immediately a team was constituted comprising SI Mr. Gaurav Banerjee, SHO Humfrygunj Police Station along with HC/118 Mr. Santh Glasthus, HC/1682 Mr. Amal Kumar Das, PC/1424 Mr. Sanjib Kumar Shil, PC/1102 Mr. Sankar Aind, PC/2647 Mr. Aurangzeb Ahmed, PC/2915 Mr. Sabraj Mohammed, PC/2698 Mr. Nitesh Baidya, PC/430 Mr. Mani Kandan, PC/1379 Mr. Abdul Naseer, PC/3012 Ms. Asha Tigga and PC/1296 S. Mr. Vishal. The team successfully conducted raid and recovered 03 Nos. cannabis plants weighing about 1.645 kilograms which was cultivated by the accused in his land at Guptapara. The entire raid took place under the supervision of SDPO Bambooflat Mr. Arshdeep Singh Panwar, DANIPS and under the overall supervision of Mr. Kalaivanan R, IPS, Superintendent of Police, South Andaman District.
