Hyderabad City, Telangana: In a proactive move to ensure public safety during Ganesh festivities, C.V. Anand, IPS, Director General & Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, carried out a surprise inspection of major Ganesh pandals in Borabanda, Rehmat Nagar, Banjara Hills, and Jubilee Hills areas of the West Zone.
The Commissioner interacted with pandal organizers and volunteers, closely reviewed the security arrangements, and gave clear instructions for the smooth and safe conduct of the celebrations. Considering the ongoing rains, he emphasized the importance of adopting necessary safety measures to avoid any untoward incidents.
Appealing to the devotees and citizens, Mr. Anand urged everyone to extend full cooperation with the police to maintain peace and harmony during the festival.
He was accompanied by S.M. Vijay Kumar, IPS, DCP West Zone, along with senior officers of the Hyderabad City Police.
