Theni: On October 17, 2023, Mr. Dongare Pravin Umesh, IPS, the Superintendent of Police for Theni District, commended the exemplary efforts of the district’s police force. During a consultative meeting at the Theni District Police Office, commendations were bestowed upon officers who swiftly resolved a murder case, apprehending and placing the culprits in judicial custody.
Similar recognition was extended to officers who conducted thorough investigations leading to the prompt arrest and court detention of theft suspects. Additionally, accolades were given to those officers who ensured timely production of witnesses during court trials, contributing significantly to the conviction of wrongdoers. Court guards, diligent police officers involved in combatting ganja smuggling, and various other officers and personnel who excelled in their respective duties were also acknowledged and presented with certificates.
