Hyderabad: Mr. Kothakota Sreenivasa Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, held a meeting with the Central Peace & Welfare Committee at the Media Briefing Hall, TGC & CC, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, to discuss the upcoming Bonalu festival and Moharrum. The event was attended by Srikishan Sharma, General Secretary of the Central Peace & Welfare Committee; Hafiz Muzaffar Hussain, Chief Patron; all zonal Presidents; Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, Additional CP, Law & Order, Hyderabad City and Chairman of the Committee; Mr. P. Viswa Prasad, IPS, Additional CP, Traffic, Hyderabad City; V. Satyanarayana, IPS, Additional CP, Headquarters & Training, Hyderabad City; as well as DCsP and Additional DCsP from the seven zones.
The Commissioner of Police appreciated the dedication and hard work of the Central Peace & Welfare Committee over the years and urged for continued cooperation to maintain Hyderabad’s globally recognized peaceful atmosphere. He also encouraged committee members to engage in more frequent interactions with police officers and to share insights on various issues and anti-social elements.
Mr. Srikishan Sharma pledged the committee’s full support to the Police Department, emphasizing their availability around the clock. Nearly 50 office bearers and members of the Central Peace & Welfare Committee from various zones of Hyderabad City participated in the meeting.
