Chennai: On the order of Mr. Sandeep Rai Rathore IPS, Commissioner of Police Avadi regarding the complaint of sale of drugs including ganja in the office limits of Chennai Avadi City Police Commissioner, the police have taken a series of actions and are arresting the criminals and putting them in jail. As part of this, the event of pasting anti-drug awareness stickers on vehicles was held yesterday morning on CTS Road opposite the Avadi City Police Commissioner’s office complex.
Avadi Police Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Rai Rathore IPS stopped the autos, cars, buses and two-wheelers on the roads and created awareness by pasting drug awareness stickers on them. Avadi Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Mahesh, Avadi Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Purushothaman, Poonamallee Police Assistant Commissioner Mr. Muthuvelpandi, and law and order Inspectors, traffic police and others participated.
