Vijayawada City: City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata I.P.S, personally overseeing the Dussehra Sharannavaratri Mahotsavam, took charge on the second day of the Sri Durgamalleswara Swamy Dasara Sharannavaratri mahotsavam, which commenced with grandeur on 15.10.2023. Commissioner Tata meticulously supervised traffic at Kanakadurga Nagar and monitored prasada counters, providing valuable instructions and recommendations to the officials and staff overseeing the proceedings to ensure utmost caution and prevent any errors. He issued directives for seamless coordination with all relevant departments to ensure a hassle-free darshan of Ammavari for all devotees during the festivities.
Additionally, the Commissioner established a specialized Police Sevadal to facilitate a serene and trouble-free visit for elderly and disabled individuals attending the Dussehra festival. They were instructed to assist and conduct the darshan with utmost care and affection. The program witnessed the participation of City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS, alongside D.C.P. Vishal Gunni IPS, AIG Mr. M. Ravindra Babu IPS, ACPs, Inspectors, SIs, and other dedicated police personnel.
