Telangana, Rachakonda: Commissioner Shri Sudheer Babu IPS visited the Rachakonda IT Cell, SOT offices, and Uppal Police Station in LB Nagar on 1.2.2025 to assess the performance of officers and staff across various police departments. His visit aimed to ensure effective law enforcement and enhance the services provided to the public.
During his visit to the IT Cell office, he interacted with the staff and commended their role in providing crucial technical evidence for investigations, thereby strengthening law and order in Rachakonda. He also reviewed the functioning of the social media wing and other departments within the IT Cell. Emphasizing the importance of surveillance, he recommended increasing public awareness about CCTV installations and improving their management. He further stressed leveraging technology to enhance police response times in emergencies and suggested formulating new policies for better efficiency.
At the SOT office, the Commissioner engaged with the staff and directed them to take strict action against drug supply networks and interstate cybercrime gangs operating within the Rachakonda region. He also emphasized the need for special vigilance regarding refugees from other countries and migrant workers arriving in Hyderabad for employment, ensuring they do not engage in unlawful activities.
During his visit to Uppal Police Station, he reviewed station records and assessed the functioning of key departments, including reception, patrolling units, and CCTV monitoring. He instructed officers to remain vigilant, particularly in sensitive areas, and evaluated the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security. Stressing the importance of public safety, he urged prioritizing women’s security.
The visit was attended by SOT Additional DCP Shakir Hussain, ACP IT Cell Narender Goud, Inspector Election Reddy, and other officers.
