Karnataka, Bengaluru: In a concerning development, lawyer KN Jagadish, known for his recent appearance on Bigg Boss show, has filed a complaint at Kodigehalli police station against popular actor Darshan, who was recently released from Bellary Jail and is currently undergoing treatment at BGS Hospital. According to the complaint, Jagadish alleges receiving over 1,000 threatening calls in just two days from Darshan’s fans, including specific death threats from an individual named Rishi. The lawyer claims these threats were made under Darshan’s direct instructions following his release on bail.
Jagadish, who has earned fame as ‘Vakil Saab’ on social media, has a controversial history in Karnataka’s public sphere. He previously represented the complainant in the high-profile Ramesh Jarakiholi CD case and was once arrested for his involvement in a civil court riot case involving senior police officer Ravi D Channannavar. Notably, he had also advocated for Darshan in the Renukaswamy Barbara murder case and has been involved in several controversies, including making serious allegations against a former Chief Minister, a Swamiji, and several Kannada actresses. Given Darshan’s extensive fan network, Jagadish has requested police protection for himself and his family, while seeking legal action against both the actor and his fan Rishi.
