Mysuru, Karnataka: As part of its continued efforts to curb drug abuse and illegal trafficking, the Hunsur Town Police Station conducted an awareness programme for auto drivers and members of the general public within its jurisdiction.
During the programme, police officials educated participants about the harmful effects of drug consumption and highlighted the strict legal consequences associated with the illegal possession and trafficking of narcotic substances. The session aimed to encourage citizens to stay vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement in preventing drug-related activities in the community.
The initiative reflects the police department’s commitment to promoting a drug-free society and strengthening public awareness on issues related to narcotics and public safety.
