Bilaspur: Under the diligent leadership of Superintendent of Police Mr.Rajnesh Singh IPS, the Bilaspur Police embarked on an ambitious campaign titled “Chetna – Your One Hope, Your Deposit, with You.” This initiative was spearheaded by the Anti-Cyber Crime Unit (ACCU), a specialized branch within the Bilaspur Police, tasked with combating cyber-related crimes and issues. The campaign was meticulously planned and executed with the primary objective of addressing the rampant issue of lost mobile phones within the community, a concern that affects countless individuals on a daily basis.

The “Chetna Abhiyan” was not just a routine operation; it was a concerted effort that involved the deployment of advanced technology and a dedicated team of cyber experts. These experts worked tirelessly, employing sophisticated tracking methods and investigative techniques to locate the lost devices. Over the course of the campaign, the ACCU successfully identified and recovered a staggering 200 mobile phones. The estimated market value of these recovered phones is approximately Rs.30 lakh, highlighting the significant financial impact of the campaign.

The operation did not end with the recovery of the devices. The Bilaspur Police went a step further to ensure that each phone was returned to its rightful owner in a timely and efficient manner. This aspect of the campaign was crucial as it not only restored valuable property to the individuals but also reinstated their trust and confidence in the law enforcement agencies. The process of returning the phones involved meticulous verification to ensure that each device was handed over to the correct person, thereby maintaining the integrity of the campaign.

The “Chetna – Your One Hope, Your Deposit, with You” campaign stands as a testament to the Bilaspur Police’s commitment to serving the community with dedication and innovation. It underscores the proactive approach of the police force in addressing public concerns and enhancing the sense of security among the residents. Superintendent Mr. Rajnesh Singh IPS and the ACCU have set a commendable example of how modern policing techniques can be effectively utilized to resolve common issues, thereby fostering a safer and more trusting community environment.
