Jammu and Kashmir, Anantnag: In an effort to enhance policing strategies and tackle current law enforcement challenges, a District-level Police Conference was held today at the District Police Headquarters in Anantnag. Chaired by SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, the conference brought together police officers from across the district to discuss improvements in policing protocols.

Modeled after DGP/IGPs conferences, the event focused on key issues such as combating cybercrime, addressing radicalization, tackling the narcotics problem, enhancing police training, understanding new laws, and strengthening security measures. It also explored the role of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to boost operational efficiency, prevent crime, and address emerging criminal activities.

Participants emphasized the need for innovative, solution-driven strategies to meet evolving challenges. The conference concluded with a shared commitment to creating a safer, more secure environment for the people of Anantnag through collective efforts.

The event was attended by senior officers, including SP Headquarters Anantnag Shri Sajad Ahmad, SP Operations Anantnag Shri Furqan Qadir, Additional SP Anantnag Shri Ghulam Hassan, DySP Headquarters Anantnag, all SDPOs, SHOs, Police Post In-charges, and other officers from the District Police Anantnag.
