Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh: In a proactive policing initiative aimed at maintaining peace and preventing crime, Srikakulam District Police organized counseling sessions for rowdy-sheeters across multiple police station limits on Sunday.
Acting on the instructions of District Superintendent of Police Sri K. V. Maheshwara Reddy, IPS, police officers engaged identified rowdy-sheeters and habitual offenders in counseling efforts, urging them to stay away from criminal activities, illegal behavior, and violent confrontations.
During the sessions, police advised individuals to adopt lawful conduct, seek positive ways of livelihood, and contribute to a safe and harmonious society. The initiative also aimed to create awareness about the legal consequences of repeated offenses and anti-social behavior.
The Srikakulam District Police continue to emphasize community-oriented policing measures that focus not only on enforcement but also on reformation, rehabilitation, and prevention of crime.
