North & Middle Andaman: The North & Middle Andaman District is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our communities. Recently, the Police Stations of Mayabunder and Diglipur have taken significant measures to combat illegal activities within their respective areas.
Under the leadership of Inspector Gracefield, the committed team at Mayabunder Police Station conducted a successful raid in Tugapur, seizing 15 Kg of illicit Handia. Additionally, they carried out a jungle search in the Chainpur area, resulting in the destruction of about 200 liters of Lehan. In a separate raid, the team confiscated 14 bottles of IMFL.
In another proactive operation, the team led by ASI D.K Singh from Diglipur Police Station conducted a raid in their jurisdiction, resulting in the seizure of 70 Kg of illicit Handia and 03 bottles of IMFL.
The accused individuals were apprehended, and cases were registered under the relevant sections of the law. The North & Middle Andaman District Police firmly conveys that the production and distribution of any form of drugs will not be tolerated in our community.
These operations were carried out under the supervision of the respective SHOs and were closely monitored by Mr. Brij Mohan Meena, DANIPS, SDPO Diglipur, with overall direction and supervision provided by Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, N&M Andaman District.
