TRICHY: In an unexpected incident, two unidentified motorbikers snatched a gold chain from a woman. On Saturday, the robbery took place while a woman adorned with the gold chain was riding pillion on a motorcycle with her husband. According to the complaint reported to Police, V Shanmugam of 62 was riding a motorcycle with his wife riding pillion. Along with them, two men were riding on a motorcycle. While they approached near Srirangam area, one of the men snatched the expensive gold from his wife which she was wearing. After the chain was grabbed the duo left from the spot immediately. A couple on a ride with the purpose was distorted and were succumbed to sadness. As per the complaint made police have registered a case in this regard and initiated has been taken for investigation. At the same time, police warned civilians to be careful saying that robbery cases are on the rise in the city. ]]>
