<![CDATA[NEW DELHI: Six persons involved in allegedly damaging two Centralized Ambulance Trauma Services ambulances have been arrested by police. The accused members are identified as the former CATS staffers. The incident of damaging the ambulances had taken place at the Petrol pump in front of Burari Transport authority of national capital. The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police stated that four CATS ambulances had come from Usmanpur at the transport office, Burari for obtaining the fitness certificate. Following which two Ambulances had gone to the petrol pump for filling fuel. While the drivers were busy paying the bills, six members approached with covered faces and started to quarrel with drivers and smashed the windscreen of the ambulances. During the investigation, the accused have been found amid the protesters gathered at Vikas Bhawan and were caught for further interrogation. During the interrogation the accused confessed that they were responsible for striking the vehicle. It was done deliberately to destroy the CATS vehicles. After interrogation, the accused were brought before the Court and were transferred to Tihar Jail for 14 days. A case had been registered against them for damaging public property at Wazirbad Police station. For such gruesome incident, strict laws would be implemented sometimes that might be non-bailable and only option would be route to jail said the police official.]]>
