Hyderabad: In Hyderabad, the Commemoration Day of Police Martyrs and Police Flag Day was celebrated with great pomp at Gosha Mahal Police Stadium. The event was graced by the presence of DGP Mr. Anjani Kumar and various other senior police officials. City Police Commissioner Mr. Sodeep Sandilya, along with Additional DGs Ms. Soumya Mishra, Mr. Shivdhar Reddy, Mr. Sanjay Kumar Jain, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat, and numerous retired DGPs, retired police officers, and families of fallen policemen attended the event in large numbers.
The occasion was meticulously organized and also attended by Hyderabad City Police Additional CP Mr. Vikram Singh Man, Law and Order, Mr. Sudhir Babu, Traffic, Mr. P. Vishwaprasad SB, and Joint CP Mr. Yam Srinivasulu CAR, Mr. Gajarao Bhupal Crime, along with other senior police officers. During the event, the DGP paid respects at the Stupa of Police Immortals and unveiled the book “Amaruluvaru”. A special police parade was a notable feature, and the names of 189 police officers who had lost their lives in service this year nationwide were solemnly read out, followed by a two-minute silence in their memory.
