NEW DELHI: Four criminals attempting to commit robbery caught in the act by Delhi police. The criminals had arduously involved in the act of drilling in the area of Shalimar Bagh. The identified were named as Panchu Ram Mandal, Pheku Basak, Mohijur and Nirjan. The former three hailed from Sahibganj district in Jharkhand and the latter from Kanchanpur district of Nepal. The criminals arrested from the premises of Manappuram Gold Finance Limited in North West Delhi area had attempted conspiracy of committing burglary from the office. The accused had secured a warehouse on rent located behind the Manappuram office in Singalpur village. Police held the accused while they were involved in flagrante delicto of burglary. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vijyanta Arya, police acted on the specific tip-off received at around 2:30 pm on Sunday regarding some of the unidentified men loitering on the premises who had recently moved into the area. ]]>
