RAIPUR: In an indiscriminate gun-battle, police shot dead seven radical naxals including three women. Police recovered dead bodies of ultras and also one Indian Small Arms System (INSAS) rifle, four 303 rifles and several muzzle of the gun. During a joint operation launched by District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Special Task Force (STF) of Chhattishgarh police in the forests along the inter-state border the skirmish broke out between security personnel and the terrorists. While the country’s security personnel were patrolling in the forest of near Tiriya village under Nagarnar police station area that borders Odisha, an indiscriminate cross-firing occurred. No security personal received any injury. But they could hunt down seven naxals.
