Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government has extended the statewide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19 till June 7. The lockdown has already disproportionately hurt marginalized communities due to loss of livelihood and lack of food, shelter, health, and other basic needs.
Many Volunteers and NGOs across the state have been delivering fresh home-cooked nutritious meals to the sick and their families recovering from Covid-19.
On the instructions of Mr. Charles, the National President of the News Media Association of India and the Chief Editor of Police News Plus, the event was organized by Mr. Raj Kumar- News Media Association of India Karnataka State President and his team have distributed food packets to the poor and needy in Bengaluru. 600 food packets were distributed.
