Ernakulam Rural: Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief, Dr. Vaibhav Saxena IPS, formally felicitated two exemplary police officers, KS Vysakh and AN Saneesh, who achieved remarkable success by winning silver medals in the prestigious Pancha Gusti competition at the All India Police Meet. The ceremony took place in the chief’s chamber at the district police headquarters, where both officers were recognized for their outstanding athletic achievements and contributions to the police force.
The Pancha Gusti competition, a traditional wrestling event, was held in Lucknow, where KS Vysakh and AN Saneesh represented Ernakulam Rural Police with distinction. KS Vysakh secured the silver medal in the fiercely contested 60 kg category, while AN Saneesh earned silver in the competitive 85 kg category. These accomplishments were a testament to their physical prowess, dedication, and discipline, not only as officers of the law but also as athletes.
KS Vysakh, who currently serves as a Senior Civil Police Officer (SCPO) at the Kodanad Police Station, was commended for his efforts and his ability to balance the demands of his professional responsibilities with his passion for wrestling. Similarly, AN Saneesh, a Civil Police Officer (CPO) from Kalamasery, stationed at the District Headquarters (DHQ), was lauded for his impressive performance and for being an exemplary figure within the department.
During the felicitation ceremony, SP Dr. Vaibhav Saxena praised the officers’ commitment to excellence both in their service to the force and in their athletic endeavors.
