Madurai, Tamil Nadu: In view of the upcoming Assembly Elections 2026, the Madurai District Police organized a flag march to encourage 100% voter participation and ensure a peaceful electoral process.
Conducted under the direction of the District Superintendent of Police, the march covered key areas and concluded at the local police station. Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Shanmukha Sundaram led the initiative, with participation from police inspectors, personnel, and central armed forces.
The march aimed to build public confidence, promote awareness, and assure citizens of a safe environment to exercise their democratic rights without fear.
