Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, November 1, 2025: As per the directions of Thoothukudi District Superintendent of Police, Shri Albert John, IPS, the Kadambur Police conducted an awareness program for school students within the Kadambur Police Station limits.
The session focused on creating awareness about the POCSO Act, Child Marriage Prohibition Act, Women and Child Safety, Cybercrime Prevention, Drug Abuse Prevention, and emergency helplines such as 1098 (Child Helpline) and 1091 (Women Helpline).
Police personnel sensitized students on how to stay safe, seek help during emergencies, and report crimes confidentially. The interactive session aimed to educate young minds about legal rights, personal safety, and responsible digital behavior.
The initiative reflects the continued efforts of the Thoothukudi District Police in promoting awareness and safety among children through community engagement and school outreach programs.
