Dehradun: In Dehradun today, a distinguished ceremony took place at the Police Headquarters, where Director General of Police (DGP) Mr. Abhinav Kumar had the honor of presenting the prestigious Indian Police Service (IPS) badges to two esteemed officers, Mrs. Sarita Dobal and Mr. Harish Verma. These officers, having recently been promoted from the Uttarakhand Police Service (UKPS) to the Indian Police Service, received their badges in a solemn and proud “peeping ceremony,” a traditional event where newly promoted officers are officially welcomed into the ranks of the IPS. The ceremony symbolizes the culmination of their hard work, dedication, and the important role they will now play in the nation’s law enforcement leadership.
DGP Abhinav Kumar congratulated the newly promoted IPS officers, acknowledging their exemplary service and leadership within the Uttarakhand Police.
