Vishakhapatnam: Acting on credible information indicating an illicit poker game taking place in Shanti Nagar, specifically within the jurisdiction of the airport police station, a coordinated operation was executed by both the airport and task force police. This strategic move led to the apprehension of six individuals actively participating in the poker activity.
During the course of the raid, law enforcement officials successfully confiscated a substantial amount of Rs.3, 63,270 in cash from the individuals involved. Furthermore, as part of the operation, six mobile phones were seized for further investigation. The comprehensive approach undertaken by the airport and task force police underscored their commitment to addressing and curbing illegal activities within the specified area.
