Rachakonda: Intending to commend the efforts and services of Rachakonda Police amid COVID-19 Pandemic, Rachakonda Commissionerate has distributed Grocery kits to Home Guards on Tuesday at Neredmet. Don Bosco partnering with Nestle India has donated these 1030 grocery kits comprising essential items at home like Rice, Channa dal, Atta, Sunflower oil, etc.
Addressing the media CP Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat IPS commended the noble gesture of Don Bosco and Nestle India for donating grocery kits worth around Rs.11 lakh and each kit consisting of items worth 1100 rupees. CP thanked Don Bosco and Nestle India for recognizing the efforts and services of Rachakonda Police during COVID-19 Pandemic.
CP specially mentioned that Don Bosco has children’s homes in Hyderabad which are assisting Police by providing temporary shelter to the victims rescued during Operation smile and Operation Muskaan.
Speaking to the media Father Noel Maddichetty Director, Bosconet said that they have distributed food earlier, and around 6 million kits across the country have been distributed by Don Bosco and Nestle India. He said that they have distributed over 20 thousand kits across Andhra Pradesh recently. He thanked the Police of Rachakonda Commissionerate for the tireless services they offered during Pandemic.
DCP Admin Mrs. K. Shilpavalli, Addl. DCP Mr. Shameer ACP Mr. Bhaskar Naik, RI Appala Naidu and Warsi Mehmmod, Manager Corporate Affairs, Nestle India Father Sharath has participated in the distribution program.
