Shajapur: The police have formed three teams and launched an intensive search for 10 suspects involved in a mutual fight between two parties in the Mohan Barodia police station area of Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh.

In the Mohan Barodia police station area of Shajapur district, Madhya Pradesh, Laxman, son of Vikram Singh Rajput (30) from Bandahedi, reported that his relatives were assaulted by several individuals. According to the report, the accused fired a gun into the air and drove a tractor over the victim, Vikram Singh, son of Zorawar Singh Rajput. Due to the severity of the injuries, Mahendra Singh Rajput from Bandahedi and Bane Singh Rajput from Matana were referred to Shajapur for treatment, while Vikram Singh Rajput was referred to Indore. Continuous efforts are being made to apprehend the suspects.
Based on the complainant’s information, a case was registered at the Mohan Barodia police station against the following accused: Dilip Singh, son of Narayan Singh Rajput; Meharban, son of Man Singh Rajput; Ishwar Singh, son of Saudan Singh Rajput; Pankaj, son of Bhagwan Singh Rajput; Raghuveer, son of Anoop Singh Rajput; Sajan, son of Man Singh Rajput; Virendra Singh, son of Anoop Singh Rajput; Dharmendra, son of Anoop Singh Rajput; Prem Singh, son of Man Singh Rajput; and Dhirap, son of Narayan Singh Rajput, under various sections of BNS 2023. All the accused are residents of village Bavliakhedi, Kotwali police station, district Shajapur. Efforts to arrest all 10 suspects are ongoing.
Reason for the Dispute:
The complainant, Laxman, son of Vikram Singh Rajput from village Bandahedi, and the accused, Dilip Singh, along with the other suspects from village Bavliakhedi, are related as maternal uncles and nephews. Laxman Singh’s family has been farming on the registered land of the accused for about 25-30 years, occupying 27 bighas of land. The land dispute was being contested in the Hon’ble Court of Shajapur and the Hon’ble High Court Bench Indore. In compliance with the court’s order, the decision favored the accused party (registry holders), and possession proceedings were completed on July 8, 2024. On the day of the incident, when the complainant and his relatives went to plow the field, they were assaulted by the accused party.
