Tamil Nadu, Tenkasi: On the instruction of Tenkasi District Superintendent of Police Mr.V.R. Srinivasan in all the schools and colleges in the district, the police are creating awareness among the students about people’s guard and police sister for school and college girls. Similarly, the District Superintendent of Police visited Courtalam Parashakti School in person today, and through the People’s Watch and Police Akka Program, five important concepts were developed for the students to use: Law and Order, Drug Eradication, Children and Women, Cyber Crime and Road Rules. The students said that if they come to know of any problem or crime, they can immediately report it on the police sister contact number assigned to their college. At the end of the program, the students of the school took a pledge that if any crime is committed or comes to light, they will immediately inform the police and make every effort to prevent crime from happening. Similarly, police awareness programs were conducted in all the schools and colleges in the district.
