Lucknow: The Azamgarh police in record time with the help of police sniffer dogs apprehended the accused who was involved in the abduction and murder of a teenager.
After the case came to the police about the abduction of the boy, the police team flung into action immediately to solve the case and during the investigation process it was found that the teenage boy was murdered as his body was recovered lying in a dry well.
The pressure mounted on the police to solve the case as it became a murder also and so the idea to bring in the two, Phantom and Honey were implemented.
As soon as the two sniffer police dogs were brought in, they were made to sniff the muffler that was used to strangulate the teenage boy. The two who are well known to hunt in a pair took less than 25 minutes in tracing the killer who was hiding in a congested narrow by lane of Azamgarh village. They even managed to locate the axe that was used for the murder and the mobile phone used to make the ransom call, all within a period of 30 minutes.
