Srikakulam: District SP Ms. GR Radhika asked the students to watch the performance Weapons at the open house program organized at the Etcherla Armed Reserve Community Hall as part of the Police Martyrs Memorial Week.
As part of the commemoration of the sacrifices of the police martyrs from October 21 to 31, District SP G. R. Radhika started the Police Arms Exhibition (Open House Exhibition) at the Armed Reserve Police Kalyanamandapam in Etcherla on Friday. In this program, the SP herself explained to the students about the weapons, their functions, technical equipment, police maces, bomb disposal tools used by the police in the performance of duty. This open house exhibition is being organized for two days and students should take advantage of this opportunity, SP said on this occasion.
The SP stated that an open house exhibition program has been arranged to inform the public and students about the weapons, clothing, tools used by the police, crime investigation method, communication, etc. as part of their duties. Martyrs’ week celebrations are being held to commemorate the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the welfare of the people and the defense of the country. She said that this program will be organized in the circle and subdivision office of all police stations in the district. She said that many types of services have been made available for public protection and police services should be utilized the SP said.
Various types of guns, weapons, spare parts metal detector, dragon light, rocker, bomb disposal equipment, fingerprint, police control room, communication man pack sets, dog squad teams used in crime investigation, all types of guns etc. Similarly, in this open house activity, the SP herself explained to the students and the public about the weapons used by the police in their duties, the performance of their parts, Disha app, Disha investigation, facilities in mobile vehicles, dial-100 working method.
