Andaman and Nicobar: As part of the A&N Police Raising Week celebrations, the police paid heartfelt tributes to the esteemed retired officers and the families of the brave martyrs, recognizing their invaluable sacrifices and lasting contributions to the force and the community.
Under the initiative ‘Vayovandan,’ the police extended their outreach to senior citizens, empowering them with crucial knowledge about their rights, entitlements, and welfare schemes to ensure their well-being and security. Meanwhile, ‘Sagar Darshi’ served as a platform to engage with the fishing community, fostering stronger collaboration and enhancing vigilance against illicit maritime activities, thereby reinforcing coastal security.
The week-long celebrations were marked by a series of dynamic and meaningful activities, including extensive beach cleanup drives aimed at promoting environmental consciousness and sustainability. Rejuvenating yoga sessions were conducted to encourage physical and mental well-being among participants. The spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie was on full display during the highly energetic Kabaddi tournament and thrilling Volleyball matches, which saw enthusiastic participation from both officers and their families. Additionally, a variety of engaging indoor games brought together police personnel and their loved ones, strengthening bonds and fostering a sense of unity.
Through these initiatives, we reaffirm our commitment to public safety, community engagement, and the values of solidarity, service, and well-being.
