Kalpatta: A father who sexually harassed his minor daughter was sentenced to 20 years rigorous imprisonment with a fine of Rs.3.5 lakh. Kalpatta Fast Track Special Court Judge K.R. Sunil Kumar passed the sentence. Meppadi Police registered the case in 2018 and the verdict is in the case. The case was registered by Jitesh. The then SI KC Inspector Shambhunath took over the case of Mathew’s investigation. After his transfer, Regina K. Jose completed the investigation and submitted the charge sheet. Senior CPO Madhu wrote the case for the investigating officers. Special Public Prosecutor G. Babita appeared for the prosecution.
