Andhra Pradesh, Prakasam: In a continued crackdown on the illegal sale of liquor, the Prakasam Police, under the directives of Prakasam District Superintendent of Police Shri A.R. Damodar, IPS, have been conducting surprise raids across the district. As part of this enforcement drive, a special operation was carried out within the jurisdiction of Kanigiri Police Station, targeting a belt shop involved in the unlawful sale of liquor.
During the raid, the police detained an individual suspected of engaging in illegal liquor trade and seized 19 quarter bottles of liquor from the premises. The arrested individual was taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to determine the source of the liquor and any potential connections to a larger distribution network.
The Prakasam Police have reiterated their commitment to eradicating illicit liquor sales and ensuring strict enforcement of liquor regulations to maintain law and order in the district. Law enforcement authorities have urged the public to report any such illegal activities assuring prompt action against violators.
