Srinagar: In Srinagar, on June 13, the Police Headquarters of Jammu and Kashmir made a significant announcement regarding the promotion of ten Sub-Inspectors from the Ministerial Executive Cadre. The promotion orders were issued to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of eight Sub-Inspectors from the Ministerial Executive Cadre (Steno) and two Sub-Inspectors from the Ministerial Executive Cadre, elevating them to the esteemed rank of Inspector.

This commendable achievement was a result of the rigorous selection process, which involved the recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee and a thorough scrutiny of the service records of the eligible candidates. The Police Headquarters meticulously assessed the qualifications, performance, and experience of the Sub-Inspectors before finalizing the deserving individuals for promotion.

The newly promoted officers, now holding the rank of Inspector, will serve in Pay Level-6E, as specified by the orders from the Police Headquarters. This advancement represents a significant milestone in their careers, signifying recognition of their competence and potential within the force.

The Director General of Police took the opportunity to extend his heartfelt congratulations to the promoted officers and their families. He expressed his sincere admiration for their unwavering commitment to duty and their exceptional contributions to maintaining law and order in Jammu and Kashmir. The DGP emphasized that this promotion should serve as an inspiration for the officers to continue their outstanding service with even greater dedication and enthusiasm.

The officers who have been promoted to the rank of Inspector include Mr. Ajay Kumar Jalali, Mr. Syed Israr Ahmed, Mr. Kailash Kumar, Mr. Jatinder Kumar, Mr. Basheer Ahmed, Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Mr. Tarseem Lal, Mr. Roop Lal, Ms. Seema Bakshi, and Ms. Jagmeet Kor. Each of these individuals has displayed exemplary professionalism and has consistently demonstrated their capabilities in carrying out their responsibilities.

The promotion of these Sub-Inspectors to the rank of Inspector not only recognizes their individual accomplishments but also reflects the commitment of the Jammu and Kashmir Police to nurturing and promoting talented personnel within its ranks.
